can you let me know what you did with the sensor problem, \

  13. robgambler1 says:

I have exactly the same problem. I went into my college library and the blackberry started acting very strange. I turned it off, took the battery out to reset the handset, and the trackball will scroll, but no longer select.

FYI the Home Depot sells a “Husky” brand small Torx driver set for about $9. It contains all of the small bits in the handle.

Uhhh, unless circuit boards have become static proof??? U should use a static strap when doing this or maybe try 2 not touch the board so much…Gonna do it I’ll post when I’m done.

  16. bcha67 says:

hey, my trackball button stopped working when u press it. but the ball is still able to scroll…if i was to replace the trackball piece would it fix the problem or is there a key on the mother board that would be the problem?

next time yhu do something like this stop saying the word POP

  18. stonerpanda says:

is it much harder to replace the sensor? Looks like you just replaced the ball… someone wants to sell me a bold with a non-functioning trackball and the sensor board is less than $10, should be worth it unless there’s soldering involved

Is there a specific direction when you insert the trackball in his location? I’ve tried to replace one but it doesn’t click anymore…..Please help…

it depends if your phone was made outside Mexico(Canada or Hungary) its on the inside, but if you have one made in Mexico the third water damage sticker its on the battery, you know in the bottom part next to the prones

  23. MichymichXi says:

Are they all visible or do you have to take apart the phone in order to see the water damage sticker on the inside?

  24. changofrijolero says:

3, 2 outside and one on the inside

  25. MichymichXi says:

How many water damage indicator stickers are there on a blackberry bold 9000?
