Android has no style. I don’t mean that in a small way – I mean that in a big way.

    htc sucks!

The complaints about Android phones being laggy demonstrate why Apple turned off multi-tasking on all but the iPod app on the iPhone – current processors just aren’t up to running more than a couple of apps at once. To make the Hero and similar phones snappier, just make sure you kill as many apps as you can.

People never do reseach anymore. iTunes works good for me. And if u don’t like using iTunes there are a dozen other programs that wil sync with ur iPhone. Bet u guys didn’t know that.
    Also, jailbroken iPhone=Jesus phone

  5. tehgibbonz says:

    yes, it’s called the g2

  6. tehgibbonz says:

try updating your firmware, this can help increase the speed

i have the hero for sprint and i personally think that it beats the iphone. iPhone just has way more apps android has a lot also. So i have to say i have to give it up to the Hero

  8. antlersgoalie302 says:

The iPhone interface is just so fucking boring. at least Android has some personality.

  9. antlersgoalie302 says:

@stoner1768 mine is also laggy. You can try to download Advanced Taskiller, which can force close apps running in the background. This helps a lot of with speed. However, it might mess up your texting occasionally. Kind of a lose-lose situation.

    @DarkReapersGrim

you know, for the smart, u pay just as much as a iPhone, true story.
its 30 bucks a month for data on the iPhone and 30 bucks a month for smart phones… and both does not include text messaging.

    naive ppl…..

  14. mrrugburn911 says:

i’d rather see the Sprint Hero.. seems to be a bit faster.

the Droid Eris is my new favorite phone… not too expensive either. the iPhone is great and all, but too expensive for me. and i’m a fan of verizon.

  15. mrrugburn911 says:

    it’s actually spelled “poseur” ;)

  16. bromostomos says:

    I agree. capitalists with poser-phones

  17. jala801 says:

You can use Winamp to sync your iphone and ipod instead of itunes.

  18. Oakesie77 says:

  19. DarkReapersGrim says:

@omidb1 I’m glad to see im not alone in this matter, wish more would realise how bad it is, more complaints might get them to knock out the HUGE problems with Itunes, mainly stability, and the horrible library.

  22. omidb1 says:

@theshieldfan THANK YOU. Itunes is unbelievably terrible but people just don’t get it.

  23. mostmusicisbad says:

Having tried both of these, this is as close as Android has got to giving an iPhone-like experience. It still feels a bit rough and ready, the touch screen is less positive, and feels like a cheap copy of an iPhone but it’s the best ‘iPhone killer’ yet.

  24. theshieldfan says:

Also having to use Itunes, which is the biggest piece of garbage software i’ve ever used and won’t even begin to explain what’s wrong with, thank god for spotify, one less thing to use Itunes with.

  25. theshieldfan says:

Iphone is a love hate thing for me, i love the phone itself, i have the 3G and recently got the 3GS which was a huge leap in power, however i hate everything about apple, and steve jobs, and i also don’t like the restrictions apple put on everything forcing people to jailbreak in order to enjoy it to the fullest. And i would like to be able to multi task, but i guess that’s possible in jailbroken versions. However not excited about the ipad, basically a huuuge iphone same restrictions….AFAIK
