Useless garbage? Do you know that Apples AppStore represents 99.4% of the market? Why would anyone build anything better for the Android?
Realistically most of those 140k apps are repeats and useless garbage.
With Android there’s probably well over 16k apps already. And yes it’s got its fair share of crap too but there are tons of excellent apps that are free and many of same apps availabe for the iPhone are available for Android. I had a iPhone and so far have found every app or equivalent for the Droid – with some on the Droid being superior.
IMO, the iPhone’s app advantage is in 3d games but that won’t be for long.
i think in the scrolling round the droid has it because of the bar on the side. i think its pimp. i have owned a iphone a tested a droid. its waaaay better and im getting the droid soon.

Haven’t anyway noticed that all the phone compaines try to compare themself to the iphone because they know that they can never match up to it so they try to add pethtic features and try to make it look better
I don’t see how the Droid is the iphone killer they claimed it would be. It seems to copy the iphone in a lot of ways but doesn’t do any one single thing better than the iphone. The slide out keyboard on the Droid just seems to make the Droid bulkier. I have fat thumbs and I typing in landscape mode on my iphone is incredibly easy.
It’s good that the Droid has multiple choices for transfering files. The IPhone is all about choice as well, 140000 choices. For any particular task you have hundreds of apps to chose from.

Just buy a MacBook Pro :] If you can’t afford one… get a Dell. Who wants to use a phone to do a computers job? This is all besides the point. The Droid is a fail. The audio quality of the iPod is no better than any other mp3 player. It’s a myth. I’ve had one. The only advantage the iPhone has over the Droid audio quality wise is the addition of an equalizer / bass boost in the app itself. And that’s not needed for those who may already have one externally.
Even transferring files / playlists is easier on the Droid – just drag and drop. And for those who use itunes or prefer an app there’s moto media sync, doubletwist etc.
MORE CHOICE = BETTER
Lets not forget that the iPhone is also an iPod which is great for music, movies, videos, pictures, and substantial audio quality. Sooooooo, if you are a multi media gooroo such as myself, you want the iPhone! Aside form the fact that all of the features that bring the Droid up and over the iPhone are nice but ultimately trivial easy fixes that will be coming soon. I am sure that Apple is hot on the heels of other comparable devices with upgrades and added features.
