admin 2,728 views Hot on the heels of the hugely successful LG KP500, LG Electronics has come up with three more new touchscreen smartphones for the affordable Cookie series – the LG Cookie T300, the LG Cookie Style T310 and the LG Cookie 3G T320. Finding the best phone deals is so much easier if you compare LG Style contracts.
Just like their predecessors in the earlier Cookie series which started with the LG KP500, the new batch of Cookie phones are aimed at the more budget conscious consumers who want to purchase their first entry-level touchscreen smartphone.
The LG Cookie Style T310 measures 102.9 x 56.9 x 11.9 mm and weighs in at a light 86.5 g. Despite its compact and slim size, the T310 comes with a 2.8-inch TFT resistive touchscreen and an accelerometer sensor. This means that you can use applications like the phone’s virtual QWERTY keyboard and switch to either portrait or landscape mode, and the cartoon-styled user interface will automatically rotate to adapt to your preference.
The display runs 256,000 colours at 240 x 320 pixels resolution and comes with a handwriting recognition software.
Concerning multimedia features, all the cookies come with a 3.5mm audio jack to listen to the same media player for MP3, WAV and eAAC+ audio file formats as well as H.264 and MP4 video files. All three include an RDS-featured stereo FM radio but only the middle model LG Cookie Style T310 has a dedicated built-in antenna so you can listen to music even without a headset.
The chief focus of the handset, however, is tight integration with many popular social networking websites. The T310 comes with LG’s own social network integration application which allows posts and updates to be sent directly to the phone’s main standby screen.
At a reasonable price range, the LG Cookie Style T310 provides a respectable performance and can easily hold its own in the budget phone market.
